Fringed Loosestrife (Lysimachia ciliata)

  • I’m native to New York state and Tompkins County, NY.

Despite my similar name, I am not the same as the non-native and invasive purple loosestrife.

I am found in wet areas in either sun or shade.

    I'm important to native bees.

    I spread by rhizomes.

I make a nice shady gourndcover.
