    I like moist, humusy and moist soils.

     

    I don’t like windy or dry conditions.

     

    I have beautiful and fragrant flower spires.

     

    I’m also called bugbane because of my  insect repellent properties.

     

    I’m tall, so I usually stand well above the surrounding foliage.

     

    I am slow to establish, and spread by rhizomes,  so you need to be patient with me.
