    I need consistently moist soils. I like swampy areas, moist woods, wet meadows, stream and pond banks.

    My bloom is suppose to look like a smiling monkey face, which is where my common name comes from. I guess you’ll have to decide if that’s true. 

    I work well in raingardens.
