    I prefer moist rich soils

    I'm a woodland grass that grows in clumps.

    I spread slowly by rhizomes and make a lovely ground cover. 

    I have shiny, arching, narrow and bright green leaves. 

    My leaves turn gold in the fall

    My seeds are attracive to turkey and other birds. 

    I grow well under walnut.
